Lake Kariba is the world’s largest man-made lake, located along the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The Sovereign Houseboat is a 10 cabin cruise boat with air-conditioned cabins, each with an en-suite shower. The large lounge, dining room and bar are also fully air-conditioned with wide windows to offer you views of the passing landscape. A staircase leads to the top deck, from where the captain sails the vessel. From here guests will have a bird’s eye view of the lake and its surroundings. Guests may also enjoy the boat’s pool and sun loungers.

Set amidst 33 acres of forest hillside with a beach area below, Kariba Safari Lodge offers encounters with uncharted wild waters, fringed in luxury.

Being set above Lake Kariba on a forested hillside, the views are spectacular from the 9 open-fronted en suite rooms, as well as from the private patios of our 8 suites.
